FACULTY DIRECTORS
Faculty Directors of a UNC Charlotte Faculty-Led Program serve as the primary crisis manager on the ground in responding to student issues as they arise. A Director’s first responsibility in an emergency is to safeguard the well-being of program participants. In order to do so effectively, faculty should reference the crisis management information provided in their Faculty Director Handbook. If you are a faculty member and have experienced an incident abroad involving the health, safety, or security of a program participant (student or faculty), we ask that you complete an incident report through the EA website once you have addressed the situation and have ensured the participant’s safety.
