Haile Peebles

Haile Peebles (hpeebles@charlotte.edu) is currently a junior majoring in Medical Sociology with a minor in Political Science. During the summer of 2026, Haile studied abroad in Italy through CIEE. She took a leap of faith by studying abroad alone, despite having never traveled outside of the country and not knowing anyone else in the program. Through her experience abroad, Haile gained confidence, courage, and a deeper appreciation for the opportunities that come with exploring the world. She is grateful for the personal growth and knowledge she gained during her time in Italy and hopes to help other students develop the confidence to step outside of their comfort zones and discover the world of opportunities waiting for them through the study abroad program that is right for them.
