Anthony Franchi

Anthony Franchi (afranch1@charlotte.edu) is a senior at UNC Charlotte pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Analytics and a certificate in Sports Analytics. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Anthony is passionate about using data to solve problems and create meaningful experiences in sports, business, and higher education.

On campus, Anthony serves as the Vice President of the Zeta Delta chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and a Teaching Assistant for DTSC-1110 and is actively involved in mentoring and multiple student leadership initiatives. He has also gained professional experience through internships in sports analytics and football operations with the Carolina Panthers, where he developed skills in data analysis, teamwork, and strategic decision-making.

In the summer of 2026, Anthony studied abroad in Japan through UNC Charlotte’s Education Abroad program. The experience broadened his global perspective, strengthened his adaptability, and deepened his appreciation for cultural exchange. As a Study Abroad Ambassador, Anthony hopes to encourage other students to step outside their comfort zones and take advantage of the life-changing opportunities that studying abroad can provide. In his free time, he enjoys basketball, traveling, exploring new cultures, and discovering local food wherever he goes.
