Ellery Blanton

Ellery Blanton (eblanto7@charlotte.edu) is a junior at UNC Charlotte studying Communications with a double minor in History and Italian Language and Culture. She studied abroad at Florence University of the Arts in the Spring of 2026 with CIS Abroad! Ellery’s goals going abroad were to expand on her global awareness and to dive deep into Italian Language and Culture. She traveled around Europe during her time abroad, including Croatia, Albania, and Spain, and visited different regions of Italy as well. Ellery found a love for traveling and exploring different cultures during her time abroad. She looks forward to encouraging students to also study abroad and help them find the program meant for them!
