Samantha Quirk

Samantha Quirk (squirk1@charlotte.edu) is currently a Junior at UNC Charlotte. She studied abroad during her Sophomore year spring semester in Vienna in 2026. She studied Psychology as well as taking intensive german courses while abroad, She intends to graduate in May of 2028. Samantha has always been interested in the idea of living abroad and wanted to finally achieve that. Her favorite part of studying abroad in Vienna was learning the culture and fully immersing herself in the city by going to museums, coffee shops, and finding fun things to do everywhere she traveled. She was scared about going alone but immediately met some of her now closest friends while being abroad, she is very happy she didn’t let those anxious fears stop her. Study abroad helped Samantha grow so much as a person and wants to help other people experience this amazing journey as well!
