Sarah Spielbauer

Sarah Spielbauer (sspielba@charlotte.edu) is currently a junior at UNC Charlotte double majoring in Psychology and Data Science with a minor in Statistics. She spent spring 2026 studying abroad at Florence University of the Arts through CIS. She took Psychology classes and an Italian culture class which was her favorite class as it broadened her understanding of Florence. Sarah has always loved traveling and experiencing new cultures. During her semester abroad, Sarah traveled all over Italy, Europe and even to Morocco, allowing her to interact with a wide range of people. She hopes to motivate other students to study abroad and explore other cultures, while sharing her story as encouragement.
