Francie Foster

Francie Foster (ffoster7@charlotte.edu) is currently a senior at UNC Charlotte. She studied abroad in Canterbury, England, through a UNC Charlotte Exchange with The Univeristy of Kent, during the spring semester of 2026. Francie is majoring in Political Science with a minor in Communications and Dance. She intends to graduate in the spring of 2027. Francie has always felt drawn to traveling and was able to travel to countries such as Italy, France, and Spain during her time abroad. She was able to study both politics and communications, contributing greatly to her degree. Her favorite part of the experience was discovering her independance and realizing how she was able to adapt in unfamiliar circumstances. She has learned so much about both the world and herself and encourages all students to explore doing the same. Study abroad pushed Francie out of her comfort zone in so many ways and she is excited to show other students how much of an impact it can make!
