OIP Symposium

The Office of International Programs is pleased to announce the inaugural OIP Symposium during International Education Week on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

This year’s symposium centers on the theme of The Value of Global Education: Career Readiness & Power Skill Development, highlighting the transformative impact of international education on academic, personal and professional development. This event is designed to foster meaningful dialogue among students, faculty, and staff around the value and impact of international education. Structured in a roundtable format, the symposium will feature an opening plenary by Dr. Erik Byker, who will speak on the Value of International Education. Attendees will then participate in two rounds of concurrent roundtable sessions, with each presenter sharing their work twice to allow for flexible engagement. The symposium will conclude with a networking reception to encourage continued conversation and collaboration.
