Know Before You Go: Success in Study Abroad and Beyond is a new interactive workshop series for UNC Charlotte students of all levels and majors. Students who are specifically interested in studying abroad, as well as those who have a general interest in international or intercultural perspectives are invited to take part.

The first workshop in the series, Financial Literacy & Study Abroad, will provide practical tips and tools for financial literacy and the skills you need to prepare yourself for study abroad, going over the responsible use of financial resources and other things to consider as you plan for your study abroad experience and your life after graduation. This session will be co-presented by OEA staff and Dr. Brad Yeckley, Assistant Director for Financial Literacy. Learn more about financial literacy & well-being at manageyourmoney.uncc.edu.

This workshop will be interactive! Participation is via Zoom; students should be prepared for potential Q&A, discussions, and other forms of engagement. You are encouraged to participate with your camera on.
